Description

Location
The apartment is located in the historic center of Florence, 10 minutes walk from the church of Santa Croce and 15 from the Duomo!
About 100m from the apartment is Piazza Ghiberti where the local market is held every morning and the covered market of Sant'Ambrogio opens. Thanks to this fact, Piazza Ghiberti can be reached without any special permission.

An incredible thing because this fact makes it possible to get a few meters from the apartment without entering the limited traffic area without the risk of getting very high fines!

How is the apartment?
New and newly renovated apartment. I decorated it in shades of gold and blue to give a touch of class.
My idea was to make you live an experience in an elegant and modern apartment! For now, according to the reviews of my guests, I would say that we succeeded!

Independent air conditioning and heating in every room. In addition to the living room with kitchen, it has 1 bathroom and 1 sitting area complete with a double sofa bed (not divisible).

The kitchen
The kitchen is located inside the living room, has an induction hob and is complete with everything.
Find the necessary for cooking and more and everything you need such as American placemats, cutlery, napkins, pots and glasses for water, wine or coffee.

In addition there is also a fridge (with free water) with freezer, microwave oven, oven and finally the coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods. To wash clothes, on request (located in a locked closet), I have a washing machine (with soap included!), Clothesline, ironing board, iron.

The district:
The district is very pleasant. One of the few in the center still inhabited and frequented by the Florentines. In the morning, the colorful Sant'Ambrogio market awaits you with its stalls of fruit, vegetables, clothes… between a coffee - there are many bars - and a baker, you can experience the authentic Florentine air. Then you can walk to Santa Croce, the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Duomo and all the main attractions of the city.

In the evening, returning to the apartment you will be spoiled for choice on where to dine among restaurants, bistros, trattorias and ethnic food. And the prices are much lower than in other areas.

It is ideal for those arriving by car

Thanks to the large covered parking, with which we have an agreement.

External services

External Breakfast

External breakfast at an artisan company.

Distance: 100mt from the apartment.

One of the best bars in Florence has recently opened very close to the apartment. The owner of this place has been world coffee champion several times. I love this place!

Do you think I could fail to make a deal with them for my beloved guests?
So  I made an agreement with them!

3 types of breakfast: Simple, medium and abundant, you choose which one you prefer.

Private guide

Private guide

Fortunately I have lived in Florence for a very long time.
Over time I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many guides (especially when I worked for hotels as a marketing consultant).

From my experience I have selected two specialized guides:

Elisa ->  Extremely funny girl.
Going around with her means laughing all the time. She combines an immense knowledge of all the anecdotes (or gossip as she calls them) of all the artists and all corners of Florence.

Chiara ->  Maremmana of origin has lived in Florence for 20 years! She is a smart girl who has made her passions her specialization.

She proposes thematic tours:
Wine -  Walk around Florence with stops in wine bars.

Romantic - Florence in the most romantic places with a violinist who plays serenades and ditties for you (lasts about 2 hours but is highly emotional).

The Firenze Santa Maria Novella station is the main hub of all the Florence traffic system.

Note: Bus / Tram Ticket.
Bus and Tram share the same ATAF ticket (Ataf = name of the transport company) which costs about 1.20 euros for 90 minutes.
You can buy it at a tobacconist's or newsagent's before boarding or with your mobile phone, by sending a text message to the number 4880105 and writing the word ATAF. On some buses it is also possible to pay by credit card.

The cost of the ticket is slightly higher than 1.50 euros (+ any commissions from your operator).

Warning: You risk serious fines if they find you with the ticket in hand but not validated, so remember to buy the ticket AND validate it when you get on the bus!

My private parking.

Location: 300m from the apartment, in the Sant'Ambrogio parking lot.

Following the booking, I will send you a detailed guide with photos and videos by email or WhatsApp!

2) Return of the badge
To return the badge card, as for the delivery, after having come to load the suitcases in front of the apartment ... leave it directly at home! That's all!

PARKING FOR FREE (or almost)!

[7 € per day] VILLA COSTANZA
Parking at the motorway exit + direct TRAM to get to the center + Bus.
Open from June 2017 it is a parking lot directly connected directly to the A1 motorway!
In reality, there is no exit from the A1 motorway at all.
It is located in the stretch of highway between Florence Impruneta and Florence Scandicci. Villa Costanza exit.
While the car parks in the center cost about € 35 per day on average, here the daily rate is only € 7!

How does it work?
Simple! Exit the parking motorway, take the tram line (there is only 1 line) and arrive at the station.
Then take the bus or a taxi as described on this page!

[Free] GALLUZZO
Parking far away + bus to get to the center
Leaving the A1 at Firenze-Impruneta or from the Firenze-Siena, go towards Florence in the direction of the small town of Galluzzo.
After about 1km, in the coopers area, there is a fairly large free car park with a convenient bus stop.
From here take bus 37 direct to the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station (about 30 minutes).
Then take the bus or a taxi as described on this page!

From 15.00 onwards whenever you want.

After this time, the credentials to open the doors of the house will no longer be valid.
In case of course they can always be open but they need my authorization.
